With the CANNA COGr Buffering Agent you prepare the COGr Board coconut substrate for use. This nutritional product has been specially developed for buffering unbuffered Coco substrates such as COGr. It is available in packs of 1, 5 and 10 litres.
COGr Buffer Agent is intended for watering COGr substrate mats. This food contains pH stabilizers, silicon, humic and fulvic acids, which provide the substrate with all the necessary nutrients. It is the ideal fertilizer for experienced, demanding growers who use COGr substrate mats.
The COGr Board coconut substrate is supplied in pressed and unbuffered form. Before use it is necessary to water the substrate with the COGr Buffering Agent. This ensures that the COGr Boards maintain the correct volume and that the substrate receives the necessary nutrients and pH stabilization. Watering can be done easily by adding the COGr Buffering Agent to tap water in a nutrient tank. The recommended ratio is 1:500 (20 ml per 10 liters of water), resulting in an EC value between 1.5 - 1.8 mS. The pH value should be between 5.2 - 6.2.
Once the COGr Board has swollen, it must rest for at least 24 hours before it can be deflated. It is also important to mention that the COGr Buffering Agent and COGr Vega A&B concentrate should never be mixed directly together as this can cause insoluble compounds that cannot be absorbed by the plant.
To ensure the high quality of the product, CANNA recommends keeping the bottle frost-free, closed and in a dark place. UV light can affect the quality of the nutrients. In addition, the COGr Buffering Agent should be kept out of the reach of children.
