Bio Nova CA 15 Calcium is a high-quality product that plays an important role in stabilizing cell walls and ion reactions in plants. This calcium supplement contains 15% pure calcium, which is equivalent to 180 g/l, and 3% nitrogen, together with the trace elements iron, copper and manganese.

Calcium is essential for cell walls and membranes in plants and plays a special role in ionic reactions. It is transported through the plant via the evaporation stream (xylem). In situations with high humidity or in dense crops, a calcium deficiency can occur because the evaporation flow is reduced. A calcium deficiency weakens the cell walls, resulting in increased susceptibility to mold and the death of growing points and young leaves.

Bio Nova CA 15 Calcium is a very pure product with a fast effect and does not increase the pH value. It is economical in use and contains 180 grams of pure lime per liter of liquid. It can be used in any growing medium without clogging or contaminating.

A dosage of 1:1000 increases the calcium content by 3.2 mmol. In combination with Hydro-, Soil-, Haze- and NFT-AQUA Supermix, 25-75 ml per 100 liters of nutrient solution can be used in areas with soft water. In periods of high humidity, 50 ml per 100 liters of nutrient solution can be dripped continuously.
